Goldfinches are frequenting the silver birch tree outside my flat more often this year already.
It's such a beautiful sight to watch them flitting about with their bright red faces and black and yellow wings.
They've never tried to feed from my bird feeder but I'm hoping they will one day.

beautiful photos, I have feeders in my yard, sunflower seeds and niger seeds, goldfinches there most of the day, but MESSY eaters!! babies there too, screaming for food, adorable. Linda
